Value – added Investment In the eyes of Basel, value-add has two main applications: A. Upgrade the existing properties by a series of methods. Those methods includes optimization of landscape design, interior design and structural optimization, update building services system, or improve asset or property by sub-division. Targeting assets could be single family houses, townhouses and apartments. B. Re-positioning an existing asset to be more useful. In an area with an oversupply of hotel rooms, but a shortage of student accommodation, Basel would aim to convert an existing hotel into student accommodation.
New Development Delivering new housing to in-demand communities. Basel seeks to deliver housing in the most efficient way, either through acquiring and developing the land on its own, or forming a joint venture with a local company to maximize their local expertise.
